The Watershed Alliance of York (WAY) is accepting bids for the implementation of a stream restoration project in Codorus Township in York County. The full bid package and supporting information can be downloaded by visiting the WAY website, or by clicking on the documents below.
Important site meeting
Contractors interested in bidding on the project must visit the project site for a required pre-bid examination of the area to become fully informed as to all existing conditions and limitations including access and availability of materials. The mandatory site showing at the proposed location of the project being bid will be at
1 PM on Friday, September 25th, 2026. The site location is: 2722 Buffalo Valley Rd, Spring Grove, PA 17362

The mandatory site showing at the proposed location of the project being bid will be at 9 AM on Thursday, September 10th, 2026. The site location is: 3137 Sticks Rd, Glen Rock, PA 1732. There is a barn that contractors can park at located at approximately 3137 Bortner Rd, Glen Rock, PA 17327.

WAY is soliciting proposals from qualified ecological restoration, forestry, conservation, landscaping, and environmental contracting firms to install approximately twenty-five (25) acres of riparian forest buffers within the Conewago Creek and Codorus Creek watersheds in York County, PA.
Please direct any questions to WAY’s Executive Director, Emily Neideigh, by October 2nd, 2026. An FAQ will be generated and posted here by October 5th.
